Using this site
By using Browser Image Editor you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, the remedy is straightforward: do not use the site. No account, purchase or registration is involved either way.
What the service is
Browser Image Editor provides free browser-based image tools. The processing happens on your own device, inside the page you have open. We do not receive your files, we do not store them, and we cannot retrieve, inspect or restore them for you.
Your responsibilities
- You keep your own copies. Processed files are downloaded to your device, and the originals are never modified by us. If a download is lost, we have no copy to restore — we never had one.
- You have the rights to what you process. Only use the tools on images you are entitled to use.
- Do not use the site for unlawful content or to attack it — for example content that is illegal where you are, or attempts to break, overload or abuse the service.
No warranty
The tools are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Image processing is lossy in places and results depend on the file, the format and your browser. Check the output before you rely on it, and keep the original.
Availability and changes
There is no uptime commitment, no support commitment and no guarantee that a given tool will always exist. Features, defaults and the available tools may change, and some may be removed. Tools marked coming soon are plans rather than promises and may take a long time to arrive, or never arrive at all. That is stated here so no one plans around them.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the site — including lost or corrupted files, lost time, or loss of profit — and our total liability in connection with the site is limited to zero, which is what you have paid to use it. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Governing law
TO CONFIRM: this section will name the jurisdiction whose law governs these terms, and where any dispute would be heard. It is deliberately left unset rather than guessed, so that no one is asked to agree to a jurisdiction that does not apply.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the site changes; the date below is updated with them. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated version.
